Back a few months ago, The Notwist hadn’t stepped off-stage yet and we were already wanting more. The 2018 edition will go down in history as the big change, the total and absolute self-management, a brave booking and a great result, with more than 3.500 over the weekend and, last but not least: we are still alive!
In 2019 we’ll also bring Thursday back, with a warm-up show by the amazing Daughters (USA), whose music could easily be the soundtrack of the end of the world. If our venue Fabra i Coats doesn’t get blown away by them, from 11th to 13th of October we’ll also be able to enjoy the art-rock of Bo Ningen (Japan) and the great live show of The Album Leaf (USA), performing their legendary album “In a safe place”.
In a few weeks we’ll announce another bunch of bands for what will be, without any doubt, our best lineup ever.
We are the festival of people who care about music. We do it our way, with our prices and a unique audience who make AMFest an unforgettable festival. We more awake than ever, opening our horizons in terms of styles, proposals and risk. An, of course, our incredible venue, the Fàbrica de Creació Fabra i Coats, a location we dress up as we always wanted to, with our personality and tastes. Stay tuned, more news to come soon!
